Shipping policy

Where we ship from

Every order ships directly from Korea — so you receive authentic products.  It's a little longer than a local parcel, and worth it for authentic products at a fair price.

How long it takes

We prepare and dispatch your order within 3–5 days. After that, you choose your speed at checkout:

  • Standard — arrives in 7–15 days.
  • Express — arrives in 3–8 days.

Delivery time

After dispatch, standard orders typically arrive within 7–15 days. During busy periods, customs delays, or Korean public holidays, please allow up to 21 days. You'll receive tracking by email and SMS once your order ships.

What shipping costs

Shipping is calculated by weight at checkout. 

Customs, duties and import VAT

Because your order ships internationally from Korea, South African customs (SARS) may charge import VAT (15%) and a customs duty, plus a small courier clearing fee, before your parcel is released. These charges are set by SARS and the courier — not by Pare — and are paid by you directly to the courier on delivery. They apply even when shipping is free, because free shipping covers delivery only, not customs. See our Customs & Import Charges page for a full explanation.

Tracking

Every order is tracked. If tracking stalls, contact us and we'll look into it.

Refused or unclaimed parcels

If a parcel is refused or unclaimed — including refusal to pay customs charges — it may be returned or disposed of by the carrier. In those cases, shipping fees and any customs charges are non-refundable, and the product cost may be refunded only if and when the parcel is returned to our supplier, less any costs incurred.

Address accuracy

Please make sure your delivery address and contact number are correct. We will not be responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect details.

A note on timing

Very occasionally, Korean public holidays (notably Lunar New Year in February and Chuseok in late September) or customs can add a few days. If anything runs long, message us, and we'll check on it.
