Where do you ship from?
Direct from Korea, so you get the authentic product. We're gradually moving popular products into local stock, which will make delivery faster and remove customs charges on those items.
How long will it take?
We prepare your order in 3–5 days, then it ships from Korea. Standard shipping arrives in 7–15 days; express 3–8 days.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
Most likely, yes. Because your order ships from Korea, South African customs may charge import VAT and a customs duty on delivery, and the courier a small clearing fee. It's normal for imported goods. Full details are on our Customs & Import Charges page.
Why isn't customs included in the price I pay you?
Our orders ship duty-unpaid, and the exact charge is decided by SARS when your parcel reaches the border — so we can't collect it accurately at checkout.
When and how do I pay it?
The courier contacts you and collects it before delivering your parcel. You pay them directly to release your order.
If I get free shipping, is customs included too?
No — free shipping covers delivery only. Any import VAT or customs duty is set by SARS and paid directly to the courier on delivery, whether or not shipping was free.
How do I pay?
Securely by card or instant EFT through our third-party payment providers at checkout. Pare does not store your card details.
Are the products cruelty-free / vegan?
Many are; where it's true of a product, it's noted on its page.
