A low-pH micro-bubble cleanser for dry, sensitive, and barrier-compromised skin
A gentle pump-to-foam cleanser that cleans the skin without compromising its barrier. It dispenses as a soft, ready-made foam, so you barely have to rub the skin, and leaves it comfortable and hydrated rather than tight. It's the gentlest option for skin that is dry, reactive, or recovering.
- Cleanses without stripping or compromising the skin barrier.
- Uses gentle amino-acid cleansers instead of harsh sulfates.
- Low pH (around 6.0) that matches your skin's natural acidity, so skin stays calm after washing.
- Touchless micro-bubble foam with ceramides and soothing extracts, gentle enough for sensitive skin.
- Fragrance-free, dermatologically tested, and hypoallergenic-tested.
Why it works
Most foaming cleansers create lather with strong sulfates (like SLS), which break down the lipids that hold skin cells together — the reason skin can feel tight or raw afterwards.
AESTURA uses an ultra-mild, amino-acid-based surfactant system instead (coco-glucoside and disodium cocoyl glutamate), which lifts surface oil and grime without breaking down the barrier underneath. On a cleanser, "sulfate-free" is a meaningful claim rather than just a label, because this milder surfactant is the actual reason it stays gentle.
- DermaON triple-lipid approach: a balance of ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids that mirrors the skin's own barrier structure, so the wash helps maintain lipids rather than deplete them. Green tea extract, panthenol and tocopherol help keep skin calm.
- Touchless micro-bubble texture: the pump delivers a dense, pre-made foam fine enough to lift dirt without hard rubbing or scrubbing.
Good to know
AESTURA is Amorepacific's dermocosmetic line, used in Korean dermatology clinics and often chosen for skin that's recovering or easily upset. In the brand's own testing, it removes the large majority of everyday impurities while keeping hydration stable, and it has been through extensive human patch-testing for sensitive skin. Results vary by person and skin type.
How to use it
Dispense 2–3 pumps of the ready-made foam onto wet skin. Massage gently in circular motions — no pressing or scrubbing — then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use morning and night.
In the evening, if you've worn sunscreen or makeup, cleanse with an oil or balm first, then follow with this as your second cleanse.
Skin type compatibility
- Dry, sensitive & barrier-compromised skin: gentle cleanse for skin that is reactive, over-exfoliated or recovering.
- Normal & combination skin: works well as a mild daily cleanser or a second cleanse.
- Removing heavy or waterproof makeup and SPF: use an oil cleanser or balm first, then this as your second cleanse.
Common questions
Will it remove waterproof sunscreen or heavy makeup?
Not on its own — its gentle surfactants make it best as a morning wash or a second cleanse after an oil or balm.
Is it non-comedogenic?
It's passed hypoallergenic and dermatological safety testing, but it doesn't carry an official non-comedogenic certification seal — we'd rather tell you that than imply one.
Does it have a scent?
No synthetic fragrance or essential oils — just a very faint natural scent from the raw ingredients, which rinses away.
Good to know: For external use. Avoid the eye area and rinse with lukewarm water. Patch-test before first use, especially on compromised skin, and introduce one new product at a time. Skincare supports and maintains healthy skin; it isn't a treatment for medical skin conditions. If your skin is recovering from a procedure or you have a diagnosed condition, check with a doctor or dermatologist. Results vary by person and skin type.
