A lightweight daily lotion for oily, combination and breakout-prone skin. It's built mostly on birch sap instead of water, so it delivers real hydration while staying light. It absorbs quickly, leaves no grease or shine, and sits well under sunscreen and makeup.

Why it works

Oily skin is often dehydrated — short on water rather than oil. This lotion focuses on adding that water without adding grease.

Most moisturisers are mostly plain water. This one replaces most of that with about 70% birch sap (INCI: Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice), a plant liquid that contains amino acids, minerals and antioxidants. It's paired with sodium hyaluronate, a humectant that holds many times its weight in water and helps draw moisture into the skin throughout the day.

Panthenol (vitamin B5) and allantoin help support the skin barrier and calm the look of redness, which is why the lotion suits sensitive or over-exfoliated skin.

It's balanced to the skin's natural pH of around 5.5, so it doesn't sting freshly cleansed or acid-treated skin, and it works alongside AHAs, BHAs and vitamin C. It also contains a small amount of purified tea-tree component (4-terpineol) for a mild clarifying effect. Results vary by person and skin type.

How to use it

After cleansing and toner, pump a small amount and smooth or press it over the face until absorbed, avoiding the eyes and mouth. In the morning, follow with SPF. At night, use it as your hydrating moisturiser step.

Skin type compatibility

• Oily, combination & breakout-prone skin: hydration with no grease, shine or heaviness.
• Sensitive or freshly-exfoliated skin: pH-balanced and calming, gentle alongside acids and retinoids.
• Very dry skin: works as a light hydrating layer, but you may want a richer ceramide cream (like the ILLIYOON) over the top, or a barrier cream instead.

Can I use it morning and night?
